Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival - Kelowna, BC
Welcome to British Columbia. Upon arrival to Kelowna airport you will be transferred to our beautiful resort hotel, Manteo Resort Waterfront hotel. Use the rest of the day to relax and explore.
Day 2 - Tower Ranch Golf Club
We will start off with a spectacular course. Tower Ranch Golf Club is ranked in the top 25 public courses in all of Canada!
Tower Ranch Golf Course is one of the Okanagan’s premier courses. Located just minutes from Kelowna International Airport and downtown Kelowna, Tower Ranch is an 18-hole, spectacular golf course designed by renowned golf course architect Thomas McBroom. The club is fully open to the public and features a strategic course with risk/reward opportunities that enable any level of golfer to have an enjoyable round. At Tower Ranch you will experience a nature tour through semi-desert hills contrasted with lush vineyards, magnificent vistas and a wide array of challenging shot options. You will not be able to wait to get back to Tower Ranch and play again! We invite you to take a Course Tour and see why people come from all over North America to play this remarkable golf course.
Day 3 - Free Day
Enjoy a free day devoted to exploring the breathtaking Okanagan Valley. Delve into a landscape where vineyards stretch across rolling hills, and azure lakes reflect the majestic mountain backdrop. Begin your adventure by meandering through charming vineyards, savoring the rich aromas of award-winning wines. Take a leisurely stroll along the lakeshores, where the tranquil waters invite contemplation and relaxation.
For the more adventurous spirits, embark on scenic hiking trails that unveil panoramic vistas of orchards, vineyards, and the valley below. The day is yours to discover hidden gems, from artisanal boutiques to quaint cafes offering local delicacies.
Day 4 - Okanagan Golf Club - The Bear
Crafted by Nicklaus Designs, one of the pre-eminent golf architecture firms in the world, The Okanagan's Bear Course can prove as ferocious as a grizzly or as gentle as a teddy, depending on which set of tees you choose. On its hind legs the layout stretches to 6,885 yards. Well-placed bunkers, grassy swales and collection areas, sculpted moundings, and tiered greens lend the course some challenge. The routing climbs through forested hills on a plateau overlooking the Okanagan Valley.
The Bear's signature hole comes at number three, 453 yards of challenge requiring a combination of accuracy and distance to avoid two bunkers en route to the green. While the course boasts an extensive collection of sweet holes, numbers thirteen through fifteen - playing over the blue waters of Lake McIvor - are the real honeys here. More than 150,000 cubic meters of earth were moved to create the lake and the dramatic topography around it, yet the course maintains a perfect harmony with the natural terrain.
Day 5 - Okanagan Wine Tour
Today we will take a short break from golf and experience the Okanagan's other famous attraction with a full day wine tour. The valley boasts more than 200 wineries, each uniquely different and all with the same goal: to produce a wine that is reflective of the valley, and as such have now been recognized on the world stage. We will visit multiple wineries today including a stop for a delicious lunch.
Day 6 - Okanagan Golf Club - Quail Course
You’ll need accurate shooting to bring down the Quail Course. One renowned golf writer described the course thus: “You could play The Okanagan Golf Club’s Quail Course every day for the rest of your life and never face the same series of shots.”
As with many Les Furber designed courses, Quail’s par threes are particularly strong–which also describes the tee shot you’ll need to hit on the 227 yard seventh hole from the back tees. Summer 2022: the Quail's 18th hole joins the ranks of some rare but memorable par-3 finishing holes, offering a dramatic end to a round of golf. With everything riding on your tee shot, it's a true test of composure.
Day 7 - Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club
Ranked in the top twenty-five public golf courses in all of Canada by Score Golf Magazine in 2017, Gallagher's is a great blend of thinking golf and "grip-it-and-rip-it" holes. Its 6800 yards of rolling fairways will keep your driver ecstatic but welcoming bunkers and elevated greens will keep your short game well tuned. With the ponderosa-lined fairways and winding terrain you may feel that your group, and the occasional deer, shares the course alone.
Day 8 - Depart
Time to bid farewell to this stunning spot! We're crossing our fingers you aced those golf swings, and can't wait to catch you on the course again soon. Safe travels!
